I was browsing around self-portraiture/self-portraits by artists and found this amazing contemporary artist: Loyiso Mkize
He’s a painter/graphic designer who lives and works in South Africa. I stumbled upon his photographic like oil paintings and wanted to share some below. He has a website and focuses mainly on portraiture including surreal and romantic figure paintings. After a google search, I also saw that some of his work involves industrial , war and political issues. BUT anyway, you should just really check him out. HIS WORK IS SUPER AWESOME. Did i Mention that yet?
